624pp., Half-title, engraved frontispiece and engraved vignette title page, regular title page, illustrations by Phiz "Hablot K. Brown", signpost has the reverse "100 £", engraved vignette title page signed Phiz fecit, and 10 lines in the errata. The engraved frontispiece and title page have scattered foxing and darkening around the edges, all other plates have a bit of darkening to edges and a few minor spots of foxing. Bound in 3/4 polished calf over blue-green cloth, rebacked with the original gilt decorated spine laid down, (some loss of gilt), label with date lacking but date still visible, new spine label gilt, endpapers renewed. A very good copy with very clean text.
