Quarles's version of "The Song of Songs was first published in 1625 and included in his "Divine Poems" of 1680. This edition retains the feel of the original seventeenth century typography, having been designed by Bruce Rogers and printed in Brimmer type. Bound in red paper covered boards, spine lettering gilt. A fine bright copy housed within a black paper covered slipcase with paper spine label. A fine copy in fine slipcase. [Ward 55].
