Woodblock frontispiece, 56(1) pp. limited to 600 copies. The present copy is number 58. Printed and illustrated by Robert Gibbings of the Golden Cockerel Press. Previous owner's name Edith McAllister Claude dated 1928, Chevy Chase, MD. She began the famous Frances Scott Key bookstore in Georgetown. She was the first woman on the Chevy Chase Village Board of Managers and an expert on the history of Chevy Chase. Bound in 1/4 yellow cloth over marbled paper covered boards, spine lettering gilt, very light fading to spine in pictorial dust jacket lettered and decorated in black, spine lettering black, chipping to corners and spine ends. A very good copy.
