. 2nd issue., half-title, portrait frontispiece, engraved vignette title page, pale yellow endpapers, 51(1) pp. This nostalgic pastoral poem recalls the New England rural home where a family of the poet's youth lived and despite the pummeling of the winter winds and snow, he and his family remained secure and comfortable inside their home. A near fine copy bound in green cloth lettered and decorated in gilt, spine gilt, very minor wear to spine ends. A very nice clean copy without names or foxing. [BAL 21862].
