The Rolling Stones

New York (1952): Charles Scribner's Sons. First Edition. Octavo. Item #022796

. 276pp., illustrated by Clifford Geary. "The Stones were a space minded family, so it was not surprising when the seventeen-year-old twins, Caster and Pollux, bought a second-hand spaceship. They named it The Rolling Stone, and the whole family started off in it for the Asteroids. An amusing book with good fun throughout and it is a take-off on many things including space serials on television". Bound in green pictorial cloth depicting the family outlined in blue, spine lettering blue, some fading or rubbing to edges, previous owner gift inscription in ink. A very good copy in slipped and worn pictorial dust jacket with pieces torn away to corners, spine ends and along upper edge of rear panel. Internally clean without foxing.
