He received his Ph.D from Princeton and he played and important part in the Manhattn Project. He received the Nobel Prize in Physics along with Sin-Itero Tomanaga and Julian Schwinger for his work in quantum electrodynamics. He created a mathematical theory for the phenomenon of superfluidity in helium. He taught at Cornell and so much more until his death in 1988.
