In four volumes. (volumes52-55). This was a women's magazine filled with color plates, patterns for sewing, knitting, crocheting , embroidery, fashion and more. It included poetry, stories, child crafts, lessons for the women in various fields. These were the books that women wanted. Bound in 3/4 red straight grained Morocco over pebble grained brown cloth, raised bands with compartments lettered and decorated in gilt, all edges marbled, previous subscriber's name to spine in gilt.
