This collection differs, it is believed, from others in the attempt made to include in it all the beatoriginal lyrical pieces and songs in our language except those where length woud not permit. The writers not living, and none beside the best. The arrangement offers the most poetically-effective order has been attempted. A lovely copy bound by Riviere in full red polished calf double ruled in gilt, raised bands gilt, with copartments fully gilt decorated, two green morocco spine labels gilt, marbled endpapers, inner gilt dentelles, all edges gilt, previous owner's name. Near fine.
