This is the story of how one of the oldest cavalry regiments in the British Army was mechanized and modernized and took its part in the war against the Nazi Germany, from the first campaign in France which ended with Dunkirk, to the final offensive and victory in this last war, which had brought to Germany a total defeat. Bound in black cloth centrally stamped in gilt, spine lettering gilt, previous owner's name, a few small bumps to corners and edges.
