Portrait frontispiece of Queen Victoria and three other photographic images mounted on heavy card stock, a few textual illustrates, 598pp., The author, who was in the 3rd Worcestershire Regiment, had researched the years between 1682-1694 unable to locate any information on the men who served during that time with the exception of one. He begins his study in 1693 with Col. Thomas Farrington. He presents his work with dates in margins to correspond with his entries through 1891. His appendix gives succession roll of regimental staff officers, chaplains and agents 1694-1890. He then follows with an alphabetical list of regimental staff officers, with a short account of their services up to the time of their leaving the regiment. Following are three musical scores then index. A very nice copy of this important regimental history bound in a newer 3/4 leather over original pictorial gilt cloth, endpapers renewed, raised bands gilt with compartments lettered in gilt, some spotting to cloth.
