Volume 3, August, 1869-, no. 2. - Volume 4, January, 1870. No. 1. This was a monthly periodical with articles written by various authors: Noah Brooks, Bret Hart, A.W. Chase, Prentice Mulford, Alice Cary, just to name a few written on various subjects such as Cariboo, Cruise of the Monadnock, autographomania, and even one title etc. A good copy bound in 3/4 black calf over brown cloth, spine lettered and ruled in gilt, all edges marbled with matching endpapers. Wear to upper and lower joints with small splits near head and tail with light surface cracks along spine, some chipping to spine ends. No foxing.
