The story of a very jealous husband who abducts his son and flees to Italy only to find himself going completely mad. His wife Emily followed him and he was eventually induced to return to England where he soon died. A beautiful set finely bound by Bayntun in 3/4 brown polished calf over brown cloth, raised bands with compartments decoratively stamped in gilt, double green leather spine labels gilt, top edges gilt.
