Kent was a painter, printmaker, illustrator, writer, architect, explorer, farmer, politician and pamphleteer. Many of these illustrations have never been published before. Also, many of Kent's works were destroyed in a fire in 1969. A marvelous book for the collector of Kent's work. Bound in 1/4 gray cloth over pictorial paper covered boards with an illustration in black, spine gilt, lower corners lightly bumped, in unclipped pictorial dust jacket with a bit of waviness. A very good copy.
