Alexander, N.C.; (2008): Alexander Books. First Edition. Octavo. Item #021938
496pp., Illustrated by Phil Hawkins. This collection of stories has been from the time of its conception, a serious attempt to continue the Sherlockian saga much as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle would have written it were he alive today. It is not an attempt, comical or otherwise, to show that Sherlock Holmes was what he wasn’t or wasn't what he was. A fine copy bound in maroon cloth lettered and pictorially stamped in gilt,, raised bands, lettering and all edges gilt, in publisher's pictorial slipcase. Very nice.
