The Cavalry post were isolate and quite inaccessible to travelers and of course with the warlike Indians, visits were not temped by friends or family. Here Mrs. Custer gives detail of life as it was living at a Cavalry post. A life separate from the rest of the world. Bound in brow pictorial gilt cloth accented in black, spine gilt, brown endpapers, previous owner's names on front endpapers, Bookseller's ticket, light wear to corners and spine ends. A very good copy.
