With his bookplate. 495pp. (1) errata, with two engraved folding plates of lunar landscape, illustrated throughout with full page and textual mathematical diagrams. Bound in contemporary paneled calf, raised bands with compartments stamped in gilt, red morocco spine label gilt short split to foot of upper joint and head of lower joint, with a bit of chipping to spine ends, some scuff marks, rear board with deep scuffs causing some loss of leather. Internally clean and bright.
