Bound in 3/4 black polished calf over marbled paper covered boards, slightly raised bands, compartments fully gilt decorated, light brown morocco spine labels gilt, early bookplate of Thomas Hargreaves. A good set with edges and corners rubbed, scattered foxing, previous owner's name near gutter of title pages.
