The author discusses the various methods used to adorn military armour. of those who used the armour. Some decorated their armour with enamel, cloisonne, gold, mother of pearl and more. Bound in maroon cloth pictorially stamped and lettered in gilt, spine lettering gilt, lightwear to spine ends and corners. A near fine copy without foxing, names or plates.
