A complete set in 16 volumes including the Statistical Record. Originally published and marketed in 13 volumes. Three more volumes were added later. Illustrated with photographs and several maps (many folding). individual volumes can be easily found but it has become increasingly difficult to locate a full complete set. After his schooling, in 1867 he went into the book and stationary business. He later worked for his father in insurance and was secretary and treasurer of the Parkersburg Insurance Co. and perused other investments through the years. A very nice, clean set bound in blue cloth lettered in gilt, decorated in blind, with light wear to spine ends and corners.
