The author has asked that the subscribers place orders for one or more of his book as proceeds will benefit the islander's. He makes note that the islanders are good people and have few clothing, food or the basics of life. The author gives his day by day account of his time on the Island and of the people he came to know well. Bound in publisher's dark green embossed cloth, paper spine label, spine has faded, chipping to spine ends, early owner's bookplate, tape residue to front free endpaper, internally clean and bright.
