Photographs 1948: Fred G. Korth, Four items: Two large silver gelatin photographs: One photograph was taken looking West over the Chicago River, spanned by draw-bridges which link the North Side with Wacker Drive. (see p. 13 of booklet) measuring 13" x 15" taken by Korth and signed in lower right hand corner and signed on verso. This photograph was used for the 1948 Chicago International Exhibition of Photography and is mounted. The second photograph is a night view looking West down Chicago River from the Wrigley building (on the right, see front cover of booklet) measuring 14" x 17". not mounted but has a small crease to upper right corner. The booklet contains photographic images of various places in Chicago during 1949. The pamphlet advertises the Fort Dearborne Camera Club Evening School of Photography. It also list the various staff members and a short biography of each member and a listing of dates each member has available for their class. Many of the members of the staff have gone on to become famous photographers such as H.K. Shigeta, J.P. Wahlman , Lionel Heymann and others. A very nice collection.
