On this plat, which was made in 1675, the Bonnet is designated as "Scotts Bonnet" or as Miller explains "because of its imagined likeness to a Glengarry." Blind stamp from the now defunct Long Island Historical Society. The original pastedown label is present. Bound in red paper covered boards lettered in black, printed paper spine labels. A very good copy with some darkening to board edges minor wear to corners and edges.
