Consequently, this is the first major record book on racing up to that time in England. Thousands of races, purses and winnings reported. It was dedicated to the Queen [Victoria]. A bright copy of a scarce item bound in brown pictorial gilt cloth lettered and decorated in gilt and black, spine gilt, some scattered foxing to fore-edges . A very nice copy.
