Printed in a small print run, this is a fine copy in a fine dust jacket. uhn often painted simple backgrounds with horizontal bands of color and light. He worked primarily in acrylic and is well known for his ability to paint the particular movements and personalities of wild animals. He was a member of the Society of Animal Artists in New York and his works are featured in the permanent collections of many museums including the National Museum of Wildlife Art. At the National Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City, his painting Lair of the Cat, won the prestigious 1991 Prix de West awarded by the Academy of Western Art.
