180p. In the introduction Dr. Bruce W. Smith of the East Asia Journal notes that Dr. Tseng presents a wide variety of coins in his work from the imitation of cowries of the Shang or Chou era, through the knives and spaces of the Ch'un Chi'iu and Chan Kuo era, to the cash coins of the late Chi'ing and early Republic. Here there is the usual calligraphy on the Yung and T'ung Wan Kuo coin of the North Chou Dynasty; the precious Wu Ch'u and Sau Ch'u coins some of which are square. It is believed that some of these coins are from the six centuries enumerated. We also see some coins of the Three Kingdoms and the odd lead coins of the Southern Han Kingdom.
