This cabinet card photograph of Company K, shows Civil War Veterans gathered at Bennington, Vermont in 1891 for their 30th reunion. A close examination shows most of the men have their unit insignia on their Civil War caps. The Encampment took place in conjunction with the Bennington Battle Monument Memorial. There is a small crack on the card which the photo is mounted but it only touches a tiny corner of the upper right hand corner of the photo. The stamp on the verso of the card has the name of Clifton M. Heaton, amateur photographer, Montpelier, Vt.
