Forward by Frank Cullen Brophy who was President of the Bank of Douglas as well as owner of the Babacomari Ranch, Chairman of the Arizona Racing Commission, a founder of the John Birch Society, a supporter of Sen. Joe McCarthy and a lifelong friend of Barry Goldwater. Here there are 71 of the ads he ran in Arizona papers in the period from 1936-1945 just before he became a devoted anti-communist; nevertheless, his essays do show the classic conservative point of view just before the McCarthy era.
