Pocock fully illustrated with thirty-four drawings in crayon and pen and ink by Major Benton Fletcher, and many contemporary portraits, 666, 719pp, finely bound in full tree calf, board edges decorated with a decorative gilt rolls, raised bands with compartments fully gilt decorated, red and tan contrasting labels gilt, inner gilt dentelles, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt, small chip to head of volume one, previous owner's name, otherwise fine.
