While the scientific production of oil and gas exploration began seriously in the early 1920's, this work dealt with oil field problems and the state of equipment with attention to giving to "cavey formations", floating sand, casing leaks, crooked holes, paraffin or waxy residues and the problem of waste as well as when overproduction comes as a new field is developed.Bound in gree cloth, spine lettering gilt, covers lightly rubbed and soiled with some water staining, previous owner's plate.
