It was said to be used successfully for abscess, cancer, chancres on lips, penis, syphilis, eczema, endometritis, gangrene, lupus, tuberculosis, and varicose veins. The before and after pictures on pages 10 and 11 show how miraculous this cure was and has been used by charlatans ever since. Many physicians wrote of the positive effects of Aristol. OCLC reports copies only at the University of Minnesota, Biomedical Library and the College of Physicians in Philadelphia. Bound in original printed wraps. A good copy with two small chips and some darkening around the edges.
