301p. When this book was written, Donald Marshall, an anthropologist, had heard that the erotic practcies on the Island of Ra'ivavae were once well-known but suppressed because of missionary influence. Here he was able to finally get an elderly informant to tell of the regular practice of 'amurepo (cunnilingus) though earlier it was called honehone. Her grandmother had a clitoris as long as the first two joints of her finger. She describes in detail the ways in which the sexual organs were lengthened from early youth. Pa-kika when a woman with an enlarged clitoris mounts another and many other terms that the missionaries had gotten them to suppress. The religion is described in detail as well as the family structure.
