Originally published in 1967, this work provides an account of hunting in the days after World War II when game was plentiful. It could not reach the glorious days of the first quarter of the 20th Century, but here there are accounts of the hunting in Africa and told in a way that makes the reader appreciate the color and excitement without the various man-killers which were more plentiful than tribes people or hunters sometimes wanted. An item that has already become scarce. Bound in gray cloth, spine lettered in gilt. A fine copy in near fine pictorial dust jacket.
