Air Tech; the Magazine of Aircraft Maintenance and Operations, 1942-1945 bound in Six Large Buckram Bindings

Chicago; 1942-1945: Philip Andrews Publishing. Quarto. Item #016151

Complete sets exist only in university libraries, here are 33 issues bound in 6 heavy duty bindings. These were, of course, the best unclassified works on military aviation and included enormous detail in the B-17, B-24 and B-25 issues. Articles by major generals and well-known aviation writer such as Martin Caidin, Willie Ley (on rockets), and many others. Since there was information shared by mechanics, there was material on the cutting edge that the Army Airforce decided was not to be classified; especially, in the later stages of the war. Many full page pictures of planes (some in color), and articles on vritually every topic of interest for those in the midst of World War II.
