Limited to1500 copies printed , 125pp. This work has become the definitive work on the silk industry of Italy in San Leucio. This is the history of the manufacture of silk which was promoted in 1789 by Ferdinand IV of Bourbon in the vicinity of Royal Palace of Caserta. Illustrated with color and black and white illustrations, bound in quarter light blue cloth over marbled paper covered boardsspine lettering gilt. A fine bright copy in fine dust jacket housed in publisher's blue paper slipcase. A very nice quality production.
