A fascinating item which is original would be in the $25,000 to $35,000 range; however, this edition was actually done in the late 1890's by a Dr. Campbell (by examining the title page under a bright light his original advertisement can be seen). Of course, these copies which are becoming scarce in themselves are oftne passed off as original copies by unscrupulous sellers. This is a good copy and the map is present though detatched (the one-eight part still in book and the seven-eights outside in protective plastic cover with a few chips mostly outside the city or key mostly in the water). As close as most of us can get to seeing Manhattan in the period just four years after the victory at Yorktown and just a year before the Constitution was introduced.
