folded sheet on stiff paper on the Louis C. Ilfeld Law Office and how it became La Galeria de los Artesanos, a fine Las Vegas, New Mexico bookstore that specialized in Western Americana. A picture of the restoration which was completed by Joseph and Diana Stein is on the internet, the drawing here on the printed cover is by J. Schuman in 1979. A small typed letter on the Artesanos letterhead from Diana Stein to a reader named Kathy written in 1983 speaks about the recipient's making New Mexico there home, talks about their collection of children's books and Southwestern items. Letterhead notes their specialty is Western Americana. A nice little item on the history of bookselling in New Mexico. Near fine.
