Leonard Tenney to a name we could not identify (who is listed as one of the pastors in the membership list in the back of the book). No copies in OCLC, Very rare lists 180 members, two pastors and the deacons. Perhaps the earliest item printed regarding Jaffrey, New Hampshire. During this period of the 1840's frequent visitors to the town were Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau who scaled Mount Monadnock (as did Rudyard Kipling later).
