In 1913 he commisisoned Charles M. Russell to provide artwork for the text. Sadly the manuscript lay undiscovered from 1913 to the year 2000. Now the work appears with eleven never-before-published Charles M. Russell pen and inks. Profusely illustrated with illustrations from the author's life including his rise to prominence in Montana. Bound in black cloth lettered in gilt, spine lettering gilt, a fine copy in fine unclipped pictorial dust jacket.
