2 volumes in pristine condition in pristine slipcase. Volume I has 230 pages with index. Volume II has 310 pages plus index. The author coined the term "orthopaedics" derived from the Greek word for "correct" or "straight" (orthos) and "child" ("paidion"). In 1741 at the age of 81 he published this work and although orhopdedics is standard in the US the term Orthopaedic is still used in majority of University and residency programs and even the AAOS preserves Andry's spelling.
