407pp. This is a very nice copy of the first state of the first appearance of this immortal baseball poem although the publisher bound some copies in a different style cover. This second state cover is more pleasing in artistic sense, with white cloth boards, [some were issued in green boards] with cover design and lettering gilt, spine and top edge gilt. Inner front hinge is weakening. A very nice copy. In mylar wrap.
