Mark Boyle's Journey to the Surface of the Earth

Edition Handjorg Mayer. First Edition. Octavo. Item #002226

270pp. Illustrated with color and black and white photographs. A black and white photographic print laid-in and signed by Mark Boyle. The photographer, Boyle chose over 1000 places to visit and photograph by having friends throw darts at a large map of the world hanging on the wall. Once they were done, he would gather the information on the areas. He would travel to these spots and do his work. He would only work in a 6' x 6' foot area. To do this, he would throw a right angle spinning into the air. Where ever it landed, that would be the beginning corner of the 6 foot square. An interesting look are what lies on the surface of the earth, those tiny creatures that live and see the world in a different perspective. A near fine copy bound in black cloth, no lettering, in black and white photographic dust jacket housed within publisher's black cloth covered slipcase.

Price: $90.00
