The book bonus for the Pulp "For Men Only" has one of the earliest pieces of Shaara's writings on the Civil War. This issue also containes Eugene Cunningham's "This Gun is the Law" and Louis L'Amour's "Survival of Mr. Dyea". A good copy with about 3/4" chip off bottom of spine, ink note of date on front cover. These three authors were becoming sufficiently recognized that they could produce some of their best work without resorting to pseudonymns although L'Amour did including his poem in 1937 where he was listed as Louis La Amour.
