The Big Brown Luverne [Promotional Card]. measures 9" x 4" full color picture of the classic 1912 Luverne 60 touring car which included Mohair top, curtains, windshield, speedometer, clock, electric self-starter, electric horn and trunk. This model sold for $2500 which excluded the poor people. This was the car that was built to race at the Indianapolis Speedway but it ran into engine problems at higher sustained speeds. At top of border there is a narrow piece of clear tape measuring 1/4" x 3" not extending below the border line to the image of the Luverne.

Near Fine The compilation of the 52 week series on antique cars written by one of the great collectors of vintage automobiles. His collection numbers 82 beginning with an 1898 Benz Horseless Carriage, a 1925 Rolls Royce and many others. Inscribed to the late Jim Graham who owned one of the finest Cords: "to Jim Graham April 27, 1987, enjoy reading about the wonderful cars of the world especially your favorite The Cord."
